While the Knoxville Volleyball Squad is looking forward to the upcoming Pella Invitational on Saturday, the Panthers must get past tonight’s opponent first. Knoxville will step out of the South Central Conference to host Mount Pleasant. The other Panthers from southeastern Iowa are currently 8-12 on the season and currently in second place in the Southeast Conference. Mount Pleasant has played two South Central Conference teams beating Albia, and splitting two matches with Davis County. Knoxville Coach Mollie Keitges tells KRLS Sports what has impressed her most about her team is how hard and smart they have played all season.

Keitges:
“They really are. With a senior led team I really expected that. I think we’ve found a good line up that we like and build on. They’re really playing hard and playing mature, and that’s really fun.”

The Knoxville Panthers stand at 17-3 on the season. Start time is at 7:00pm tonight from Knoxville High School
