Sometimes the greatest games in recent history won’t go down as a win, and sometimes they go down as a heartbreaking overtime loss that can end on something as trivial as an extra point. The Storm played Dubuque on the road in 2017, mounting an epic fourth quarter comeback to force overtime, then traded touchdowns with the Spartans, only to miss the ensuing extra point to fall 28-27 in Iowa Conference play. The Storm still racked up 453 yards of total offense, but four interceptions including three in the red-zone would doom the Storm to fall. Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson had the play-by-play, and you can re-live the action this Saturday at 1pm on KNIA.
