The final week of the high school football regular season brings the #1 PCM Mustangs to Osceola to take on Clarke. PCM enters 6-0 overall and 4-0 in Class 2A District 8, and will look to close the regular season with a perfect record. The Mustangs have been flying high as of late, averaging 63.5 points over the last four games, while not giving up a single point. Head Coach Greg Bonnett says that Clarke has begun to reverse a trend of relatively unsuccessful football by changing some philosophies.
The Indians enter 1-5 overall and 1-3 in district play. Clarke has struggled to compete this season, with their lone win coming against winless Chariton. PCM has clinched the district title, as well as a first round postseason bye. Jon Mohwinkle and Jeff Lindsay will broadcast the action on KRLS3. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30, with the opening kickoff from Osceola at 7:30.
