The trio of Indianola golfers fared well at the state meet in Des Moines Friday and Saturday.
Jackson Overton was the top finisher for the Indians shooting a +13 85 on day one, and had a stellar day two, shooting a +4 76 to eventually finish in 23rd place with a 161.
Nick Campbell shot a +15 87 on day one of the tournament, shot a +11 83 on day two to shoot a 170 and finished in 47th place.
Cooper Nailor shot a +19 91 on day one of the tournament, and shot a +22 94 to shoot a 185 and earn an 80th place finish.
The Indians will graduate five seniors from the squad, including Nick Campbell.
The Indianola volleyball team hosted a tournament Saturday, hosting Perry, Creston, Clarinda, and Glenwood at the Indianola High School and the Blake Fieldhouse. The Indians took down Perry 21-11 in both sets, Clarinda in two sets both scored 21-14, and fell to Glenwood in two sets 16-25 and 23-25, as well as dropping a three set match to Ballard 24-26, 25-14, and 13-15. The Indians are now 9-10 on the season, and will next travel to Norwalk on Tuesday.
