People’s Bank is coming to Knoxville in spring 2021. The financial institution has announced that it will file an application with the Iowa Department of Banking and FDIC to open a branch at 413 Main Street at the old Iowa State Savings Bank drive-through downtown. Marketing Manager Rebecca Prescott tells KNIA/KRLS News that the existing building will be expanded, with details to be determined.

This will be the bank’s seventh location. The bank also announced that it will open a new operations building in Indianola in 2021.
