Pleasantville hosted their final quad meet of the 2020 season Saturday.
PCM went 1-2 on the day, winning 2-1 (13-21, 21-192 15-11) over host Pleasantville, with losses to No. 7 in 1A Southeast Warren 0-2 (10-21, 12-21) and Earlham 1-2 (21-14, 14-21, 7-15).
With the two local schools clashing, PCM was led by Celeste Wagaman with six kills and four blocks, and five kills and two blocks from Kassidy Block. The Trojans’ were paced by six kills from Amber McKinney and 16 assists from Adi Adreon.
Pleasantville also lost to the ranked Warhawks (22-24, 19-21), and the results of their match against Earlham were not immediately available.
The Trojans continue a homestand to finish the regular season, as they host West Central Valley on Tuesday for their second to last contest before the playoffs. PCM is now at 12-18 overall and is next at home on Thursday when they host South Hamilton.
