A round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to pass through Iowa along a cold front through the overnight hours into Monday morning.

Scattered storms are possible in the overnight, and a marginal risk for severe weather is in the forecast, and strong winds and damaging hail will be the primary threats.

Daytime highs will hover in the 70s Monday through Wednesday, before another cool down comes and afternoon temperatures peak in the 50s through the weekend.
