Cleaning supplies and personal protection equipment (PPE) for Warren County employees and residents are in a good supply currently, after a shortfall at the beginning of the pandemic. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News preparing for the upcoming winter and flu season shows a shortage in one area.
“The protective equipment such as masks, gowns, and gloves are becoming more readily available to everyone, but right now there is a shortage of needles that nurses will use to give the flu shot and a future vaccine that will come out for COVID-19. It’s a shortfall right now, but there is no need to go out and hoard if you do have a need of needles.”
