The Knoxville Police Department is nearing its goal of raising $25,000 to purchase a police canine. Chief Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News that the department is still accepting donations, and a canine would be able to serve the community in a variety of ways.
“Nothing is too big, nothing is too small. We are just excited about this opportunity and the opportunity to serve the citizens of Knoxville in more ways with a canine.”
Donations can be made at the department, or by clicking here.
