The Heart of Iowa Cross Country meet was held Monday at Saydel. The PCM girls finished second with a team score of 64. Champion Roland-Story scored 29.

The Mustang girls had two top 10 finishers. Sophomore Paige Steenhoek was third with a time of 21:37.80. Freshman Tiffani Koonce finished 10th with a time of 23:39.37.

The Mustang boys finished seventh with a score of 169. No runners finished in the top 10, but senior Beau Webb finished 18th with a time of 19:40.36. Sophomore Caden Bouwkamp was 30th with a time of 20:38.47.
