Indianola residents can harvest fall blooms in Buxton Park this Sunday with City Horticulturist Angie Buchanan as the city prepares to winterize the park. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News those who have signed up will have an hour to choose and harvest flowers, and should bring their own shears or pruners and a vase or container. After collecting the flowers, a photo can be submitted to parks and rec for a contest, with the winner receiving a $20 gift certificate for the 2021 Plant Sale. Masks and social distancing are required. For more information on registration, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
