The PCM volleyball team will close the regular season this evening in Monroe when they play host to South Hamilton in a Heart of Iowa Conference tilt. At 2-3 in conference play, the Mustangs are locked in to the lower half of the conference standings, but have a half game lead over Greene County for fifth place. South Hamilton has struggled to a 1-4 start to conference play, and has lost three in a row entering tonight’s match. A PCM win tonight would give the program its highest win total since 2007, when the Mustangs won 20 games. PCM enters tonight’s match 12-18 overall.
With each potential postseason match scheduled away from Monroe, tonight is the final home game of the season for PCM. First serve between the Mustangs and Hawks is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at PCM High School.
