Webb Shadle Memorial Library in Pleasantville hosted a vendor and craft fair Saturday morning to help in the library’s effort to purchase new carpet. Organizer Celeste Hudspeth tells KNIA/KRLS News that they brought back an old event, and are donating the proceeds to a local cause.
“We’re just doing a vendor and craft fair to support the library. All the fees are donated to the library to help them out. We’re trying to turn an old event that someone used to do into something bigger with more community involvement.”
Numerous people attended to purchase a variety of items, including homemade foods, candles, household items and others. This coincided with the library’s Take and Decorate Pumpkin Extravaganza.
