The Indianola girls swimming team finished second to Norwalk at the Little Hawkeye Conference meet Tuesday evening. The Indians got a third place finish from Hannah McFarland, Emily Thompson, Julian Bacon, and Kinsli Cram in the 200m relay, a second place finish from Jorja Culver in the 200 Freestyle, a third place finish from Olivia Bacon in the 200 IM, a second place finish from Kinsli Cram in the 50 Freestyle, a second place finish from Jorja Culver in the 100 Freestyle, a second place finish from Kodi Cram in the 500 Freestyle, a second place finish from Kinsli Cram, Emily Thompson, Olivia Bacon and Jorja Culver in the 200 Freestyle Relay, and a third place finish from Emily Thompson in the 100 Breaststroke. The Indians will next compete at Boone on October 27th.

The Pella swimmers with the NCMP Aquagirls of Newton had a strong night at the conference meet. Junior Hannah Nedder is a three time conference meet champion, with a win in the 100 yard butterfly (1:00.19), and with the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams. Senior Natalie Boll was also on the 400 freestyle squad. The NCMP Aquagirls are off until the state qualifying meet on Saturday, November 7th at Southeast Polk.
