A dominating senior season is now record breaking for Pella Christian defensive end Luke Mulder. After a sack Friday against Panorama, he now has the school record previously set by Caleb Morgan in 2011. His 7 ½ sacks currently ranks as 3rd best in Class 1A.
He now has 20 tackles for loss on the season — which is currently tied for 1st among 1A defenders and matches the single season Eagles’ high mark by David Kacmarynski set in 2014. Mulder’s 15 sacks in his career dominates the school record book, and his 42 ½ career stops behind the line of scrimmage is shy of David Kacmarynski’s 49 ½ TFL.
Luke will look to keep his dominating senior season alive this Friday against No. 2 in 1A Van Meter. Hear the Eagles live on 92.1 KRLS, kniakrls.com, and the free KRLS mobile app.
