The Indianola girls swimming team travels to Boone High School tonight for a meet with the Toreadors. The meet will give the Indians one final chance to shore up their skills before the regional competition this week, and head coach Aaron Strain tells KNIA Sports this will be a chance to get as many athletes into the pool as possible.
“We’ve had some stroke specific workouts as of late, and we’ll continue to do that with our regional team to give them the best chance of success at the regional meet. We want to eliminate some of the distractions and focus on our postseason so we can finish this season off strong.”
The meet begins at 5:30pm.
