The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation has opened online donations for its emergency room renovation project. This investment will increase staff workspace and provide additional private rooms for patient care, which is especially critical when patients with mental health needs stay an extended time waiting to be transferred to a long-term care facility.
Contributions can be made either by monetary donation, or via raffle ticket purchase to be entered into a drawing for a vacation. The fundraising event will run through November 13th.
