vote-2020

Marion County absentee voting numbers are at an all-time high. According Auditor Jake Grandia, over 9,200 ballots have either been requested via mail or completed in person.

“The numbers continue to grow. We are not mailing them out anymore, but we are over 9,200 requested ballots, so that is a record for Marion County. We’re about 1,000 up from four years ago, and that will grow as we vote people here at the office for in-person absentee voting.”

The office remains open for in-person absentee voting through Monday, and will also be open this Saturday. Mailed ballots are no longer available for request, but those who have received absentee ballots through the mail must have them postmarked on or before November 2nd.
