Two PCM cross country runners qualified for this Saturday’s state meet in Fort Dodge. Sophomore Paige Steenhoek is back after qualifying last year and placing 44th. Meanwhile, freshman Tiffani Koonce will appear in the meet in her inaugural season as a Mustang. Steenhoek says that while the team missed its goal of qualifying, she and Koonce are honored to represent the PCM program at the state level.

Koonce is looking forward to being joined by one of her teammates, especially going in as a freshman.

Steenhoek placed 13th at Thursday’s state qualifier at Williamsburg while Koonce was the last to make it in at 15th. Hear more from PCM’s state cross country qualifiers on tonight’s Radio Sports Page on KNIA/KRLS.
