Knoxville Optimist Club is hosting “Treats in the Trunk” today as part of the city’s Halloween celebration. Children are invited to get an early start to their trick-or-treating by dressing up in their costumes to receive candy from various community organizations.

The event runs from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Auld Park in Knoxville. Masks are required, and gloves will be provided. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on site to play music and provide entertainment.
