For the second straight season, Twin Cedars Runner Ryle Dunkin was All-State as she placed tenth in the class 1A girls meet on Saturday. Dunkin has been a top runner in the state for two seasons now and told KRLS Sports she was a lot more comfortable this year than last, one reason she felt she could keep up with the contenders.
Dunkin :
“I wasn’t quite as nervous. but not quite as nervous as last year but I was definitely nervous tying to place in the top 15 and do the best it could do and run to the best of my ability.”
Dunkin, a sophomore, will work to get back to the State Meet for a third straight season next fall as a junior.
