The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. They approved an ordinance to amend city code, reducing the number of Parks and Recreation Commission members from seven to five. They waived a second and third reading of this ordinance. They also approved the payment of claims.

The council will next meet on November 9th, a joint meeting with the Marion County Supervisors. The next regular meeting will be November 16th at 6:15 p.m.
