Melcher-Dallas Cross Country Runner J’Lyn Knutson wrapped up a stellar running career for the Saints Cross Country Program. Knutson is credited for getting the running program at Melcher-Dallas started when she was in middle school. Her Coach, Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports J’Lyn has a lot to be proud of when she looks back at her career.

Stuart:
“She certainly has a lot to be proud of not only on the course but just for even getting the program started, and those who realized they could do something they thought was impossible, and she really feels good about that part of it as well.”

Stuart says now the focus will turn to the spring track and field season. She says Kuston has a lot of goals after losing her spring last season due to the pandemic shutting down the season.
