The Pella Opera House has expanded its hours this year for the annual Festival of Trees.
Jara Johnson with the Pella Opera House says the festival will be open from Friday, November 6th starting at 3 p.m. through Saturday, December 5th at noon. Participants can shop for Christmas and winter decorations at the Boutique on the Balcony, visit the Children’s Winter Wonderland in the Historic Theatre, and take a guided path through the Great Hall for the display of trees, wreaths and tablescapes. Many items will be offered through an online silent auction at pellaoperahouse.org.
In addition, on every Saturday in November at 10 am, they will host a free, short and socially distanced program for children and adults in the Historic Theatre. Face coverings are required for all winter activities at the Pella Opera House, which is open Monday-Wednesday and Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm; Thursday, 10 am – 6 pm; Friday, 10 am – 5 pm during the Festival of Trees.
