THRIVE Knoxville’s “Living Windows” is two weeks away, and will be Thursday, November 19th. Knoxville’s annual kick off to the holiday season will begin with the annual tree lighting ceremony on the Marion County Courthouse lawn at 6:00 p.m. The lighting can be viewed on THRIVE Knoxville’s Facebook page. Immediately following the lighting, Santa Claus will make “Santa Stops” at various locations around Knoxville to drop off goodie bags for kids.

Businesses on the square will be open and decorated for the season, including displays in storefront windows. New this year is a lighted holiday display called “Merry-N-County Christmas,” which will be in place throughout Marion County Park.

Volunteers are needed for this event. Find out how to volunteer here. Stay tuned for a conversation about Living Windows on an upcoming In Depth.
