Both Seth Walraven and Norah Pearson will return for another season at Knoxville and try to make their way to the State Meet in 2021. Walraven will be a senior going for his second trip and Pearson will be a junior going for her third trip in as many seasons. Both tell KRLS Sports the experience of the State Meet does not compare to anything they ever run at during the season.

Seth:
“I think that’s the big takeaway and I achieved my goal of making the state meet so that’s good.”

Norah:
“I think this year and last year being at the State Meet it’s a surreal experience, the crowd is so big and loud and you just feed off of it, I think it’s an amazing experience.”

Pearson finished 17th at last week’s state meet while Walraven placed 77th in the class 3A races.
