The Indianola Eats program will continue next Monday, after initially ending in October. The Indianola Eats program is funded by a grant, and involves the City of Indianola, Indianola Chamber of Commerce, The Helping Hand of Warren County, and Central Iowa Shelter and Services partnering to purchase hot meals from local restaurants and distribute them to families in need. Since the start of the program in August, close to 6,000 meals have been distributed to area residents. The meals will be available in the Dollar General parking lot Monday beginning at 5pm.
