The Pella and Pella Christian volleyball teams both had their seasons end to the eventual state champions in their respective class. The Lady Dutch ended 2020 against the 4A champions from Xavier, while the Eagles dropped their last game to 2A winner Dike New-Hartford. Pella was the No. 14 team in 4A and ended with a 23-12 record, while Pella Christian finished with an 18-17 record.
