The Career Academy of Pella is hosting a work-based learning night to highlight programs available to area students. The virtual event will be held on Monday, November 30th at 6:30 p.m. Teri Vos with Future Ready Iowa says interested parents and students from any school in the area can learn more about the six work-based learning programs, which include:

– culinary/hospitality – apprenticeship/certification
– early childhood education – certification/degree
– engineering assistant – apprenticeship/degree
– health occupations – apprenticeship/certification
– information technology – internship
– welding – apprenticeship/degree

Business partners, Career Academy of Pella instructors, and current apprenticeship students will share their experiences.
