Four swimmers from Pella will compete at the 2020 state meet.
On Saturday at the district meet, the 400 yard freestyle relay of Maylei Ruggles, Natalie Boll, Emma Curry, and Hannah Nedder will come in as the 28th seed after a qualifying time of 3:52.81.
Nedder had already qualified in the 100 yard butterfly and is the 13th overall seed in the state, with a 59.07 mark. Nedder has now qualified for the state swimming meet for three consecutive seasons, and Ruggles has now done so two times in a row.
Emily Mills will be going as an alternate, and Emily VanderMolen will be going as team manager.
