The Knoxville Police Department partnered with the Knoxville HyVee Thursday to raise funds for its police canine fundraiser. HyVee donated $1 for every meal purchased during its weekly Thursday Night Dinner. Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News that HyVee sold approximately 275 meals. Free will donations were also accepted as part of the fundraiser. Fuller added that totals will be finalized sometime this week.
