Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a new proclamation for the ongoing public health emergency related to COVID-19.
Starting Wednesday, any social, community, recreational, leisure, or sporting events with more than 25 people indoors or 100 outdoors are now prohibited for the next 30 days, unless all participants over the age of two are wearing masks. Groups at those events are limited to eight people or to those in the same household, and all individuals must maintain social distancing. Only two spectators per youth athlete or participant are permitted to attend.
Distancing is required at bars and restaurants, with masks required at indoor service industries, including salons. Governor Reynolds clarified that point at her press conference, saying all of these businesses can remain open, but remote working options should also be strongly considered.
The Governor also highly encouraged all residents to postpone gatherings of any kind, especially with large groups, as the holidays approach.
