It’s beginning to look and feel like the holidays in the Pella community as the Christmas shopping season begins at local retailers.

PACE Alliance Executive Director Karen Eischen says decorations, hot cocoa bars, and horse carriage rides continue through every Saturday between now and December 19th.

Eischen says this year, the annual Tour of Stores will look different and begin on Thursday, November 19th, with events traditionally held on one night instead spread out over several days, including discounted Pella Bucks at Marion County Bank, the annual tree lighting, and other activities.

Several retailers throughout the community have already started with holiday deals as well, and Eischen encourages all to shop local for Christmas and year-round.
