Six Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Players and three from Twin Cedars were voted to the all-Bluegrass Conference Volleyball Squad. Earning first team spots for Melcher-Dallas were Kynser Reed, Kenzie Smith, and Riley Enfield. Reed and Smith were both unanimous selections. Reed was an all-around player for the Saints leading the team in kills with 177 and digs with 223, both landing her in the top five in the conference. Smith was a great front row player for Melcher-Dallas leading the Saints in blocks with 35 and her 32 solo blocks placed her fourth in the conference. Riley Enfield had 404 assists, which gave her the conference lead by just one this season. Enfield’s twin sister Kacey made second team all-BGC. Kacey was second on the team with 219 digs and had one of the top serve efficiencies at 97%. Grace Overgaard was also selected to the second team. She had 140 kills and 25 blocks. Earning honorable mention was Elizabeth Milburn. For Twin Cedars on the first team was Ali Mockenhaupt. She was the team leader in digs with 321 and was the conference leader in that department. Earning second team was Rylee Dunkin. Along with her cross country efforts she also was solid on the volleyball court earning second team all-BGC leading the Sabers with 214 assists, which put her fourth in the conference. Getting honorable mention was Jetta Sterner. Twin Cedars finished 8-11 this season and 1-3 in the Bluegrass Conference. Melcher-Dallas won the Bluegrass Conference Eastern Division title and took the conference tournament championship as well, finishing with an overall record of 23-3.
