pleasantville-3

Every team has a hot streak and a cold streak. One just hopes that it isn’t a rapid shift between the two. The Trojans started 1-3, which is cold, only to go 8-5 in the next baker’s dozen contests, which is definitely a great run. After that though, Winter came early and the Trojans were iced to the tune of seven straight losses to close out the year.

Head Coach Joel Allman preached consistency, but there wasn’t a lot to be had during these runs. That being said, when his girls are on their game, they show just how solid they can be.

“We would have some sets that we played really well, the we’d have some sets that we didn’t play well enough. Unfortunately, we had more sets we didn’t play well enough to win the match. Once again, I thought this team did such a good job this year passing the ball, serving, hitting in certain spots. The consistency was an issue but we did a bunch of great things this year.”
