Webb Shadle Memorial Library is hosting their annual Children’s Holiday Take and Decorate Extravaganza. Director JoEllen Glick says that it’s going to be different than usual due to health and safety concerns.
“There will be no children’s holiday party this year, it’s an annual thing we’ve always had for the children. Instead of having that, where we had Mrs. Claus come in and we had the whole east room filled with crafts for the kids to do, we will have a take and decorate pick-up bag that will be available on Saturday, December 12th between 10:00 a.m. and noon that day. Children can come in with their families and pick up a goodie bag filled with crafts and different items for the holiday season.”
Children and families will take home the supplies, create a project, and send it back to the library via email or Facebook message. More information about this and other events at Webb Shadle Memorial Library can be found here.
