As part of the upcoming “Merry-N-County Christmas” light display in Marion County Park in Knoxville, THRIVE Knoxville is in search of volunteers. Organizer Tyler Christian says these people will assist at the front gate and give information as visitors enter.

“We do have a few volunteer opportunities remaining if individuals would like to volunteer. We have what we’re calling an admission booth to the event. Handing out flyers, giving a few instructions to people as they progress through the park. We’re asking for three to four volunteers per evening. So if you’re interested in that, you can find the link at THRIVE’s Facebook page. Dress up in your elf costume or whatever you’d like and sign up.”

The event runs on Fridays through Sundays from 5:45 to 9:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, November 20th. It will also be open the week of Christmas on Monday through Wednesday, December 21st through 23rd. Click here to sign up.
