Numerous businesses in downtown Knoxville will host “Candyland Live” Thursday as part of Living Windows. Organizer Leta Burke of Candi’s Flowers says that participating businesses will provide discounts and prizes.
“A bunch of stores have gotten together, and they picked a token off the Candyland board. The way the public will know who’s playing, is they’ll have something on their door that indicates they’re part of Candyland Live. When you go into the store, you could win a door prize, you could win discounts, every store that’s participating is doing something different. Maybe somebody is going to be lollipops. So they’ll have those outside their door, people can go in, draw a lollipop and get something.”
Candyland Live runs from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in downtown Knoxville. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on site to play Christmas music. Find a list of participating businesses here: Candy-Land-Live-Fact-Sheet
