The Pella Police Department is undergoing a restructuring among leadership.

New Pella Police Captain Paul Haase is now serving as 2nd in command and says the new positions, including patrol sergeants and lead communications specialist, are intended to provide incentive for promotion and to help keep talented staff in Pella.

Additional changes to the department will come in the near future as part of the reorganization.
