Several area cross country athletes earned Academic All-State Honors from the Iowa Track and Field + Cross Country Coaches Association.

The following local individuals were recognized for their efforts in the classroom:

Abby Cutler, Pella
Hailey Siefrig, Indianola
Brayton Juffer, Pella Christian
Hailee McCormick, Pleasantville
J’Lyn Knutson, Melcher-Dallas

Those who qualify must be a senior with a 3.8 or higher cumulative grade point average and was either a State Coed Meet qualifier or finished in the top thirty at a State Qualifying Meet during the year of application
