One of the ways the Indianola football squad ramped up their play as the season went on was winning the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense. Indians head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports it took a little bit of time for guys to best learn their roles, but as the season went on it helped the team immensely.
“We really made major strides, leaps and bounds up front. And as those guys continued to get more confidence and understand the scheme our offense really began to click. And all year long I thought we played well defensively, that is where the bulk of our returners were coming back on that side, where we had some experience.”
The Indians went 4-5 this season, falling in the round of 16 to Waukee.
