Following a solid year for the Trojans, their own recognized their peers for a variety of awards. These range from on the field performance to just being an excellent human being off of it. The following were awarded at the Trojans’ end of season banquet:

Mr. Fun, given to the one showing the best positive attitude, went to starting center Cole Sampson.

Mr. Attack, given to those who showcase superior work ethic, was given to both Alex Swanson and Colby Sandholdt.

Mr. Character, given to the one who shows the strongest leadership qualities, was given to quarterback Caylor Clark. He also won the Mr. Team award for his selfless demeanor towards his teammates.

Mr. Ownership, given to the one who goes out of his way to finding and then correcting his own mistakes, was given to leading rusher Isaac Mann– his second time winning the honor.

Mr. Resilient, given to the one who handles adversity the best, was given to both Jake DeJoode and Matthew Kauffman.

Next year’s captains were also announced. Those include DeJoode, Bristol Huyck, and Jonah Schumacher, the latter of which will be the only underclassman as Schumacker will be a Junior.
