Simpson College has announced they will host a virtual program this afternoon examining legislative, law enforcement, and community progress toward goals for improving criminal justice system outcomes.
“Criminal Justice Futures” is co-hosted by the Simpson College department of sociology and criminal justice and the John C. Culver Public Policy Center, and will host speakers including advisor to Senator Chuck Grassley Rachel Wright, Executive Director of the Iowa ACLU Mark Stringer, various attorneys, and members of law enforcement and non-profit organizations.
The program is scheduled to begin at 1pm, with sessions at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. The virtual program is free and open to the public, however advance registration is required.
