Private family funeral services for Velma B. Shepherd age 87 of Lacona will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo. Burial will be at Indianola IOOF Cemetery. An open visitation will be held Saturday 1:00-5:00pm. The family will be present to greet family and friends on Sunday from 1:00-5:00pm. Memorials may be made in honor of Velma to the Lacona Fire and Rescue or St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lacona.
