The Norwalk girls basketball team began the 2020-2021 season Monday evening in girls-only action at ADM. The Warriors could not recover from a slow start in a 53-31 loss to the Tigers.

ADM took advantage of a cold-shooting first quarter by the Warriors, taking an 11-2 lead after one. Norwalk stormed back, outscoring ADM 15-13 in the second to get within 24-17 at the half.

It was a slow start out of the gate in the third quarter, as ADM outscored Norwalk 20-6 in the period to go up 44-23 heading into the fourth. It was a fairly even fourth quarter as ADM coasted to the win.

Norwalk has now lost three straight in the series to ADM. The Warriors begin the season 0-1, and will be back in action next Tuesday at Ballard. That game will air live on 94.3 KNIA.
