Twenty-three Indianola High School students were selected as All-State musicians for this year by the Iowa High School Music Association. According to the district, this is the first time in over 45 years Indianola did not host the South Central auditions in person. All students auditioned individually via video recordings that were judged by a certified judging team. This festival has been a part of Iowa tradition for 74 years and would have been held Nov.19-21 in Ames, IA, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
