Knoxville Parks and Recreation has released its December schedule. Due to Governor Reynolds’ proclamation of enhanced COVID-19 mitigation measures, no organized activities are planned. Parks and Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says that his department is doing its part to help get through these difficult times by altering their policies.

“We’ve been trending up, it’s been a rough fall here, and it kind of seems like things are starting to get real around here. We’re trying to do our part, just keeping the doors open for general use, with nothing organized where you’d have large groups. We’re thankful for everybody’s understanding and helping us get through these times.”

Masks are required at all times in the facilities, and people are asked to sanitize items after use. Find the complete schedule here.
