The Melcher-Dallas girls basketball team is looking to bounce back with an important game against Pleasantville on Tuesday, as they are looking to get behind their opening loss to Wayne, 40-33.
Melcher-Dallas will be looking for a more consistent game as they look for their first win over Pleasantville since 2012. They have lost seven straight, and the last five were by double figures. Melcher-Dallas Head Coach Kelsey Goff states that the key is going to be attacking Pleasantville’s full-court press.
Last season when the two teams met, Pleasantville pressed Melcher-Dallas the entire second half. Coach Goff also has stated that her team needs to desperately improve their free-throw shooting, as they shot two for 20 from the free-throw line last game.
Melcher-Dallas and Pleasantville have a doubleheader Tuesday on kniakrls.com on the KNIA3 stream, with the girls tipping off at 6:00 P.M.
