With the cold winter weather here, the Indianola Police Department wants to remind residents to be as prepared as possible to stay safe during a winter event. Indianola Police Captain Brian Sher tells KNIA News if you are involved in an accident that forces your car off the road, to stay in your car as there is a good chance another car may go through the same conditions you did. Sher also says to not hesitate to call 911 if you are involved in an accident, as that is what they are there for.
