The Little Hawkeye Conference is often regarded as the most competitive boys basketball conference in Iowa, regardless of class. The Norwalk Warriors have been among the best teams in the league for most of recent history, and have held at least a share of the conference title for three consecutive years. Head Coach Chris Larson says that while the postseason will be different due to the move to Class 4A, another conference championship would be special for his program.
Norwalk has finished 12-2 in conference play in each of the last three seasons, with the only losses coming against Pella, Pella Christian, Oskaloosa and Indianola. The Warriors begin conference play on Friday, December 4th when they host Pella Christian. The season begins Tuesday, December 1st with a non-conference road trip to Ballard, which will air live on 94.3 KNIA.
